This is the first thing I’ve cooked from it so far. I was attracted to the book because of all of the interesting cultural and historical tidbits she gives along with information about the different regions of Greece.

I don’t think our diet includes pasta in everyday meals like the Italians but the love and consumption is there.

Pasta during Lent is a good way to feed the belly. I have Vefa’s book and I’ll have a look at this delicious dish and others.
